Hi,
Just got a Lo-Boy that I have found out is 6 volt positive ground. The owner before me made a mistake and put in a 12 volt battery negative ground. It ruined the voltage regulator, and it was down hill from there. He had no spark (of course) and began tweeking at random. I am unsure of the wiring configuration, which leads me to this question:
The coil has markings for '+' and '-' .
On a positive ground system, would the '+' still indicated that the ignition switch hook to it, or would it be the opposite? Does the '-' still go from the coil to the distributor?

My 'IT Manuals' say nothing about this, so any help would be great!!

The + terminal needs to be connected to the distributor.
