I was wondering what equipment an H could use. I was thinking of converting to three point, how large a cultivator or a disc can I use? How much weight could it lift?

Hey Brent, Ive converted my H to 3 pt hitch about a year or so ago and it is sweet! It will lift the front end of the tractor up before it will stop lifting. Before I got the loader for it, I used the 3 pt to hook under the front end of cars and lift the front up and push them back to mow around and it lifted just fine. As to the disc size, I use a 7 footer I think and can go in 3rd or 4th gear but you will probably be better off getting a transport disc. But I use the 3 pt to bushhog, plow, disc, rake, hare, and everything else. The 3 pt. really doubles the usefullness of your tractor. I got mine from Jones Salvage which he makes his own hitches from Nebraska. The thing is tough as a bear and weighs something close to 300lbs. Good Luck and you will enjoy a 3 pt. trust me! RC

I just put a Saginaw Tractors 3 point on my H, and it works GREAT! I use it with a 5' grater box (box blade) and it lifts it full of dirt like nothing. Works reasonably fast up and falls at a predictable rate down. I love the flexibility of using 3 point implements, and the rental place likes the extra business for the one time jobs. Glad I went with the Saginaw, the quality is great, lots of trick extras that make it worth it. It weighs about 330 lbs, but comes apart in minutes to a weight able to be handled by 2 men.
