Does anyone know if they make an adapter to hook an implement up that has the new style ball type connectors to the old style IH(806)hydraulic couplers? The 806 couplers on the tractor have a needle(pin)in the center.

If your talking about the the old standard Pioneer ends. At your local case/IH dealer should have the one piece adaptors to fit then onto the newer 766 / 1466 type IH ends. The newer ball type ends were also the larger size ends.

We have several tractor with either type of tips and were always using the adaptors to hook up to the older equipment with pioneer ends. Good Luck

We have a set of the old IH's on a Case Plow, while we have new Pioneer or I also believe are called ISO(which has the ball like your taking about)on our tractors and other machinery. We haven't had any troubles mating the old IH's to the new Pioneers. If this is the "new ball style coupler" you are talking about we don't have or use an adaptor and they have worked for us.

It would not be difficult to make your own set. A bit costly, but buy two ball females with 1/2 inch pipe threads and two male IH plugs with 1/2 inch thread and nipple them together. I think I recall seeing and adapter for sale somewhere, but a quick search of my catalogs failed to disclose a source.
