I'm a full-blooded Norwegian...can a fast hitch be added to a Super C? If so, what is involved/cost? Thanks for enlightening me.

of course it can does run into some money and time the tube that rins from the pump to the rockshaft must be replaced and a remote valve to lift the cycl on the fast hitch better look at one that is running and go from there holes in the frame need to be there so you can get all the right stuff

Thanks for the replies. I was asking because I spotted a clean Super C along the highway, but no fast hitch. I seldom see any implements for it, but my dad has been thinking about one if it is cheap. I inquired and $2600 is price. No fast hitch, has hoses, reservoir. Maybe was parted out. I posted a few days ago about Super C. The tractor was painted in section over a period of a year. Paint doesn't match. I have 2N with dozer blade I use to plow snow and I like it. Bought old John Deere model 9 sickle mower and would like something with live hydraulics. Also purchased at the same auction, wooden-sided Deere spreader. I like my 2N, but grey, would like something that has more eye appeal, I like Farmall red. Yes, German or anyone who has input, feel free to 'tell me der den. Tusen Tuk (Thank you) Al

I think someone wanted around $375 (not including shipping) in an advertisement in Red Power Magazine. Very easy to add one, you need: auxiliary control and lever for the reservoir, check valve (goes near tool box), and hoses, and the fast hitch. Try to get the cylinder in the deal. You should get the parts book for the SC to see how it is assembled.

I tried selling a 2 point fast hitch found no interest in the one I had listed complete for $450/plus shipping, and that did include the check valve.Everyone that called wanted to pay no more than $200-300.I am sorry to say.... I found it better to break it up for parts.

Red Raider: What's the average price for these extra cost items? A few items missing is a pain? I'd like to do the same but it would be $600+ with shipping and these extra parts?? If $375 would be all, I'll buy one right now. The 3-point system would be a better choice rather than fast-hitch(if cost goes much higher)? Just wondering? Gotta add in all costs and compare to a 3-point?? ralph

If you want a 3-point, buy one, or get a tractor with one on it. A fast hitch is nice but implement availability is a problem. A collector might want a fast hitch but a user who really wants a 3-point should get one.

I don't use either.

Al: Can a German answer?(grin) Ya sure..but try and find a complete system..and at a "reasonable" cost. May be better to just trade for another tractor. Lots of pieces involved and missing a few can be a pain to locate. ralph
