I have a Farmall with serial number FAA 137296 and engine number 6342-DH it also has an exhaust lift system. It has a Super A hood but may not be a Super A maybe just A. Please give me whatever information you have.

FAA means it is an A, not a Super A.

It came off the manufacturing line in 1945, but it is not a 1945 model, it is an A which happened to be made in 1945.

As a long time reader of this board, I respect your answers. However, FAA applies to both A and Super A. When I read your reply, I thought someone might have converted my SA, however the manuals use the prefix "FAA". The Super A-1 uses the prefix "FAA-1"

Your tractor is not rare -- I don't know how many were equipped with exhaust lifts, but they were common. My dad had a 1940's B with an exhaust lift, the lift worked OK.
