MD swinging drawbar question

My MD has the forward mount for a swinging drawbar. I don't have the drawbar to go with it so I would like to remove the mount. It looks like there is a gasket between the mount and the bottom of the transmission. Is there a hole in the bottom of the transmission underneath the mount? If I unbolt the mount, will I have 13 gallons of transmission lube all over?
Also, once I get it removed, I would like to trade it and the belt pulley gearbox (no pulley) toward some rear wheel weight halves (4). I'm in Northern Indiana and that pulley gearbox is too heavy to ship very far (80 lbs.).....

Yeah, you can remove that swinging drawbar front mount easily, but if you do, I strongly advise you not to get rid of it because you may want it some day to complete your restoration. MD's with a decent restoration will be worth serious money someday and the more complete any tractor is the more value potential it has. Reproductions of the swinging drawbar are easy to find, get one, you'll get your money back if, and when, you decide to sell it. Complete tractors always bring premium prices. And an MD is a special interest tractor besides.

Brian, I'm not very experienced in this, but you might consider that the swinging bar pulls from the best place on the tractor. I got some advice from this board about a year ago on that. Pulling from the u-shaped bar puts a twist on the rear axel housings. Probably OK unless a really heavy pull. I'm sure others can give more educated advice..... .....I'd be glad to hear it myse

Just unbolt those 3 bolts and it will come right off, there is no hole or anything under it that oil would come out of.
