I bought a seat part for my 1939 Farmall M from John Novotny from Chelsea, IA. John and his Dad are in the business of making reproductions seats for the 39 Farmall. I have seen his seat Assy and it is very well made. His address is:
Novotny Repair

Chelsea, IA 52215

Restored a 39 h last year that had the seat changed. Already had a 39 with the correct seat. Was able to use it for a pattern and built one. Turned out fairly nice. link below will show it.

Was going to suggest the same thing, had good luck with inquiries on H parts, got a fair price on the ones I bought, and fast shipping too.
