Hi, me again. I was looking on another site, and got confused on some serial numbers. We have a (supposedly) Super A, but now I'm not so sure. The serial number is 272195, and the model is FAA. Also, is there some type of tool box anywhere on it? I mean, should there be? According to the other site, the serial number is on the right side of the tool box. But our serial number is on a plate under the seat, on the gearshift side.

On the Super A, the tool box is under the seat.

Acording to the number you listed, you have a 1949 Super A. The FAA indicates that you have a Super model. You can go two routes for the tool box. You can get a reproduction tool box, or you can get one from a bone yard. You might have to look for a while for a nice one. They did get banged up sometimes. Serial number plates where found on the sides of Super C tractrs.

Your serial number is where it should be. Yes, there should be a tool box. It should be bloted to the underside of your seat, and is accesable from the rear of your tractor. As for the serial number itself, you can look it up under the serial number section on the left side of your screen.

Well, that answered one question for sure- The toolbox isnt there. Where could I find one, and how much would I have to spend to get it? Also, can anyone help with the model FAA? What does it stand for? Is it Super A letters?

Stands for FarmAllA. It means the same as the A and the Super A.
