Search the archives here for info on [more power],etc. You can go to Denny's for your parts if you want I NEVER WILL. For IH parts most parts stores ion a farming area will have a line of kits. I pull with mine and have had a good year in the stock class,I have the original head and carb and manifold. And believe me there is no such thing as unbeatable!!

I was told that you can put in a 450 manifold, 450 crankshaft, plane the head, and put in a high alitude kit for a 450, pullout the hyd. belly pump, then you'll have to put a gear reduction starter drive, you'll have an unbeatitable tractor (Super "M").. my 2 cents

I think the crankshaft in an M, SM, 400 & 450 are all the same, all 5-1/4" stroke. M was 3-7/8" bore, SM & 400 4" bore & 450 4-1/8" bore. 450 crank may be modified for more strength due to 13% more displacement.
