I have a Farmall 140. If I install a 3pt hitch can I still use my fast hitch? Thanks for any help.

I'd also like to know about this. We need to hear from somebody who has done this on the A/100 series with the single-point fast hitch. The previous replies refer to the two-point fast hitch, as used on the C/200 series and larger. If I remember correctly, Worksaver makes a 3-pt adapter for the 100, but I don't think the fast hitch stays.

Many years ago I found a 2 to 3 point adapter at a farm sale that was a bit different. Instead of installing a top link bracket to the rear of the tractor, this adapter has a bar that extends up to top link height and then back down to the other prong. You use either a short piece of chain or a fixed bar as a top link from the implement to the adapter, not to the tractor. It's real handy because you can just pull the two prong latches on the tractor and leave the whole adapter on the implement, ready to back into the next time you need it. Wouldn't be hard to make one yourself if you can weld and bend heavy steel.

There are available conversion kits which attach to the fast hitch by sliding into the existing arms just like the 2-point impliments. A bracket for the top link attaches to the rear of the tractor above the power-take off, and you're in business. So, really, there's no reason you could not use 2 point impliments. See the worksaver.com
for their line of conversion kits. They have some good drawings that should answer your questions.
Two points, I found that the top link they provided was too long, and I had to find a source of a shorter one. Secondly, the 2 point hitch has no provision for adjusting the width between the arms, so you have to choose your impliments to fit the existing width, or shim the impliment attachment pins to fit. I have the adapter on a farmall 200, and it works fine.
