As I had just finished plowing for the day, I picked the plow up and headed back for the barn. About 15 seconds after I start moving I hear the governor crack open and the plow was down. So I figured I hit the lever or something and pulled it up again and it wouldnt go so I get out and look and oil is pouring out of the pump. Im just like "Great, just rebuilt the thing." I went to the shop and tightened the pipe coming out of the pump where your hydraulic line hooks too and it didnt help at all. So I wanted to see if the laoder would work (loader is on the front left port and the right port and plow is on left rear port) and the right side went up fine and the left side leaked like a sieve. I just rebuilt the pump with new gaskets and seals a few months ago. It looks as if one of the pipes that screw into the pump has busted? Whats the chances of that?!? But as far as I can remember the right side pipe that screws into the pump is on the same flange and everything and the left side. So if a left pipe busted wouldnt the oil go out of the busted line even with the left side closed off and tthe right side open? But the right side doesnt leak at all. Only thing I know to do is to take those pipes that screw in the pump off and inspect. Seems as if the casting busted or the gasket on that piece on the flange went out, the right side would leak too? What do ya'll think? Oh well had fun and thats all that matters!
