I have a farmall tractor...
I can not find any serial numbers on the tractor except for motor or pto housing. All the info I have is on the cowling and it says,IH McCormick Farmall A Cultivision. Is this tractor a Super A ?
Where would I find the serial numbers?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Most A and Super A tractors had the serial plate on the seat mount as others described. Very early A models had the plate on the guard below the pedals. The whole guard may be gone. All but the last A engine numbers were the same as the serial number (if it has the original engine). The engine number is stamped into a machined boss at the top of the engine block, right side, near the front.

Short of a serial tag, the hydraulics are your best indicator of the model type. However, I don't believe that Supers were marked as Cultivision tractors.

If it is a Super A it will most likely have a hydraulic lift under the gas tank. If not, probably not. The decals indicate it is an A.

The serial number plate is on the right side of the left seat support and is only obvious after you've seen it.

Look on the left seat frame, there should be a metal serial Plate rivets to the frame.
