I hope the webmaster doesn't get mad at me for putting this here, but I've posted a classified ad several times without even one response. Are there any WD-40s anywhere left to be had? Any condition? I know they only made 3300 or so and they are pretty hard to find, but I thought I'd get a few high-priced bites anyway. I'd love to restore one if I could find it. Any ideas?

Brian - WD-40s are getting harder to come by. I started collecting them in 1987. What Guy says is true. The people who collect these monsters seem to want all of them they can get their hands on. I have 9 of them, now, as well as several of the 6 cylinder tractors (WA, WK, and W-40). I know a fellow in Australia with 12 or more WD-40s. They are a great piece of machinery and one of the finest tractors IH built. Best of luck in your search. If you get one and need any technical information, etc., please let me know.

There are several very dedicated WD-40 fans out there who collect all of these tractors they can find. They are getting quite pricey, best thing to do is keep checking the magazine auction ads. A fellow I know just purchased one not so long ago- there are still a few out there.

The only WD-40's that I know of (and I haven't covered much area in this world) I saw in Rollag this year, there were 2 of them, and one of them has been there every year I am. True there aren't many around, but you should be able to find one somewhere!

Keep looking and click here to see one of them.

Never give up

In regard to the pictures the tractor that is not identified is a 1912 Model 30-60 E Rumely. Also the 600 IHC was made only in 1956. Thanks for posting the pictures.
