My 450 has moisture in the tachometer that is sometimes cloudy and sometimes clear. Any ideas on getting it out? Thanks to all in advance, especially the regulars, I really appreciate the info you provide to all of us newcomers.

Bel, I drilled a small hole in mine and set it in the sun a couple of days with the hole on the bottom. That got most of it out, then I put it in my oven on WARM for a nite and that fixed it.I hope that does it for you

Try drilling a small hole in the case of the tach at the bottom somewhere where rain wont get in. This will allow moisture to escape. Also, try to seal the bezel with silicone.

I remember that being a problem with some of our tractors when we were caught away from the machine shed and they got rained on. The moisture would eventually go away when they sat in the shed for a while. You might try removing the tach and hitting it with a blow dry through the cable hole. Might help. If nothing else keep it off the tractor in a controlled environment such as your home for a few days and see if it clears up before reinstalling it.
