Super A Carb Problem?

My Super A seems to load the carb full of fuel when I start it. It smokes for about one minute, maybe not that long, then clears up. The smoke isn't from oil, you can tell from the smell it is extra fuel, and once it is burned off, the smoke stops and it never smokes again. If I run the tractor each day, it hardly does it at all. But if it sits for a week or so, then it's worse. Would cutting the fuel bowl off help? Thanks in advance.

I turn off my sediment bowl and let the tractor run till it dies if it's going to sit for a spell. Are you chokeing it when you start it? I've found when mine is running right it never needs choked unless it's very cold out. This may not help you any, just been my experiance

I'm wondering if you have a float that sticks a little bit during startup.
