I need some advice on what a Super C with a 59 Woods belly mower is worth. The tractor is not stuck, needs paint, rear tires at 30% and checked. It needs mechanical help but is complete and is a reasonably sound tractor.

Thanks, Bob

I just bought a super c with a 6' woods belly. The tractor needs an engine cowl and a muffler, rear tires ok, fronts could be replaced but hold air. It has a new 6 volt batt, rebuilt gen and new volt reg. It runs great. I paid $600. I got a great deal.

I priced a belly mower for my super C this past summer. This is the dealer giving me a price with no markup and does not include assembly and installation(I work there so that is why I could get it for cost). Well, a 6' (72") was about $1700 and 5' (59") was about $1500. This will give you a little perspective I hope. I bought a Super C in the same shape sounds like, but with a belly blade and cultivators for $700, so I would guess, depending on the mower about $1000 or so.

Bob in IA: You said "reasonable sound" so the $500-1000 is too low. Almost all tractors need some work if one is honest about it. Prior post show value varies a lot depending on what area of the USA your in. That setup near a large metro(with lots of grass) would be more than $2000. R.

I wouldn't give more than $500-1000 for it since you said it needed work--The mower will raise price some. In August I bought a C (not super)in good mechanical condition, good paint, needing one rear tire, with a sickle mower for $1650 (KS). Rained part of day, crowd relatively small, I got a good deal.
