Where and how do I check the level of the hydraulic fluid on a "M"? My lift is get slower by the day and weaker. It is around a 50 model.

If you have the belly pump you check the level under the gas tank on right side of tractor where you add fluid.

They came with a dip stick to check the level at the fill neck but many have been lost over the years. The one on my H is 9 1/2" from the top of the fill pipe to the fluid level, an M would be approximately the same. Overfilling somewhat is not a big problem because the belly pump is also an expansion tank for the system. What are you using for fluid? 30wt non detergent motor oil is what the book calls for. Hope this helps, good luck. Dick
