I'm thinking about selling my W 14 McCormick Deering. Its a 1938 model, on rubber, with only 475 units made that year. Ser# W5 4502.It needs tires, brakes overhauled and a paint job, other wise it runs perfect. It has a PTO, hand brakes, crank start,no rust holes or dents. Bought from orginal owner and was grey in color. Any ideas on whats it worth? Thanks.

I've seen W12 's go for $3000 and up when they were fixed up. There are less W14's around. What it will sell for is dependent on someone around your area wanting to buy it so its hard to say what its worth. I didn't think any W14's were painted gray. Are you sure its a W14? I'm not sure what the difference is between a W14 and a W12 - I'm sure its not much.
