Heres the picture of the Super C I have the chance to buy, needs a few odds and ends, battery, battery cables, battery box and new pre-cleaner, but I think if I can come up with the money next year it will stay here.

Bob, that's a nice-looking Super C; if I were you, I'd grab it provided the $$ was available. The front blade alone is worth a tidy sum of money.

That looks like a good straight little tractor and would be a good one to get possesion of. I know of a one owner Super C that I would sure like to have. This guy bought it brand new in 1954, but it doesn't have the fast hitch. This tractor does not have a single dent and has been shedded it's whole life. With a good buffing and wax job it would look real good. We already have two of them but what's a third one going to hurt?

I have only found one small dent on the right side of the grill otherwise this thing is in perfect shape sheet metal wise, kind of makes me wonder if I should buy it or not as I'm not used to buying tractors in this nice of shape.

Yeah, I know what you mean. My first SC was pretty much a piece of junk and I spent a year and about $4500 fixing it back to new condition. Of course I loved every minute of it, but as soon as I finished it a SC was advertised in the paper. I went to look at it and wished I had found that one instead of the one I restored. It was nearly perfect, all it needed was paint and it ran like a sewing machine. This man was only the second owner, he bought it in the early sixties. Asked the guy the price and he sheepishly said $1100 for it and the equipment? I nervously wrote him out a check, loaded the tractor and equipment on the trailer and left before he changed his mind!! We owe it to ourselves to get an easy one now and then.
