Looks to me like 6 bolts holding it down, and a dowel pin to align it. I got five of the bolts out, one twisted off about 1/4 inch down in the hole in the rockshaft bracket. The head is busted off so it can't be holding it. (Once the rockshaft bracket is off I can get at it to remove it) The durn thing just wont budge. Anybody here have one of these off before? Where is that alignment dowel pin located? I kinda think I'm getting it loosened up, but with my luck I'm just busting up the bracket and then I'd feel really dumb.

Kinda feel dumb now, but if anybody else wants to know, the dowel pin is 3.2 inches from extreme left end or bracket and .80 inches from rear of transmission cover. I went out and took a good light and a magnifier and found I could see a crack of light all the way around under the bracket, managed to drive a couple screwdrivers, I mean small prybars, under it and wiggled. I was kinda worried the neighbors were gonna call the cops because of the wiggling, but it was moving, so I kept it up and finally it came off. I've been fighting that thing for three days without any progress and finally, success.

Now if I can just remember why I wanted to take it off...

It's the casting that holds the rockshaft for the fast-hitch. It's attached just behind the hydraulic reservoir on a flat surface above the PTO. I had two busted off grease zerks in mine, and since they are pressed in, I couldn't replace them. I'm taking the bracket off so I can drill and tap for screwed in zerks. Sorry about the picture quality, I had really bad light when I took this.
