My 1947 H has X1 in the serial #. I have read in here that this means its a high compression gasoline only model. Does anyone know what that higher compression ratio might be, I've seen that a stock H has a compression ratio of 4.5:1. Also does it make any more power than a regular H. Any info would be great. Thanks

Alan the X1 is for gasoline only. Compression on it would be 5.9:1. 4.5:1 on the distillate head sounds a little low to me.
