Today I was helping a friend clean out an old shed he got, in which I was in what must have been the back room where we threw away a lot of junk, iron, wood, and some nasty old cardboard as well. I was digging underneath a 4 foot deep shelving unit left in there when I came across a few treasures. I found an NOS 303 combine Sieve Assembly Extension (part #155646C91). Believe it or not, the tag was still on it. Next, I came across an NOS front lower bolster for an M thru 450 (part #6719DDX), and lastly, an NOS belt pulley (12" diameter by 8.5" wide part #358597R92) for an M thru 660. I haven't cleaned them up yet because of time, but I think after I get the 3 inches of dust off of them, they will all be nice. Yes, the tags are still on them and all 3 items are in great shape. Wow, was I rather shocked to come across those. Anyway, we got to asking and found out that building was an IH dealer and closed its doors some years ago and it had only been used for storage for the past 20 years or so, nothing spectacular. So, I got the three items as my payment for helping my friend, not that I cared because friends help and never asked to get paid, but I'll tell ya, it sure was nice. Now the problem, what to do with them??? LOL Well I could keep them, could sell them, or just hold on to them until the summer convention. What do you gentlmen think? Thanks and I am not trying to brag, just a little excited for finally getting lucky.

Aaron,

What ever way you go, suggest you researth the part numbers, and include them in your posting.

Knowing that IH used some parts on multiple tractors, I always include the part number in my search, in the hopes that what I'm looking for is one of those common parts. Since my tractor (Model 504) was not made in large quantities, I'm just as likely to find the part off anothe model.

I'm never sure that my tractor fits into the set when you say they fit 'model this to model that', but with the IH part number, I can look it up and be sure.

Thanks

Wayne

Well gentlemen, I do thank you for your input. Although I don't collect Farmall, rather Molines, I know these all are good items. Why can't I find prairie gold treasures like this...LOL. I figure the best thing to do is to put them on here (YT Mag Photo Auction) and go that route. I figure the people who would be interested in them most are here. So, to let you know, that is the plan. I also am gonna put on there a very nice McCormick Deering S-3 Cream Separator I have at home as well. Anyway, once again, thank you very much.

There is always EBay. Lots of parts listed there. Thats where I have been picking up original owners, parts, and shop manuals for my eguipment. There was a fellow who parted out an M and sold all the parts on EBay! Whatever you decide, good luck! John

I was at an auction a few years ago and on the junk wagon in a box of misc. junk was two NOS gold 1206 emblems, brand new. I was the only one that bid on that box and got it for $2. I see used emblems sell for $50 each so I have no idea what these would be worth. I'm going to frame these and hang on to them. I used to have a 1206 and these have meaning to me.

Case IH still sells those emblems for about $35. The guy in redpower that sells them for $50 buys them from Case IH and resells them as NOS.

I guess I should have realized you could still get them but never really thought about it. I still feel I got a bargain at $2, though!

Aaron take pictures and stick them in photo ads or the auction section. If that belt pulley is in real good shape, it should fetch $50. Same with the M lower bolster with axles. Hard telling what you would get on the 303 sieve extension.

I would say that $50 is reasonable. Yes M lower bolsters are worth more than H lowers, but $100 seem excessive to me.
