I remember seeing shiny crome and glass fuel filters screwed into h and m carbs where the fitting goes that the fuel line goes into at the carb. I would like to know where they are available. THANK YOU

They are a filter made by a company called SPECTER. Check at an auto parts store or SUMMIT or JEGS Automotive. You'll need to know the thread size of the inlet to the carb. Sediment bowls actually do a very poor job of filtering fuel, I added one "In-Line" to the fuel line on My Super H. I also covered the rubber fuel line with the stainless steel mesh to protect it. This wasn't recommended in the old days when mounted corn pickers & stuff were put on these tractors. Fires were not uncommon and the rubber fuel line would burn and flood the fire with gasoline! Most picker tractors even had the glass sediment bowl replaced with a steel bowl. The nylon filter element of these filters does a real good job of filtering. They even filter water out of the gas.

That would have been an aftermarket filter. Your best bet is to place a WTB in the classifieds. I doubt there are very many around.
