What is the proper way to exact time a Super M tractor. Can this be done with a timing light and the mark on the crank pulley.? where does the advance come in? Thanks

Ben with the engine at idle, the timing mark should line up with the pointer using the timing light. The distributor has springs to advance the timing when the engine RPM is increased. On the M with full throttle, you should see roughly 30 degrees advance.
