I was just thinking if it would ever be possible to have a get together of anyone who would like to somewhere once a year? Something like car clubs do and like Honda Goldwing riders with Wing Ding. I don't know who would organize it or how. I wouldn't even be able to go for quite awhile. I just thought it would be great to actually meet some of you guys and talk tractors and swap pictures, stories etc. What are your thoughts on something like this?

Randy, RPR is in Penfield, IL next July. The I&I Antique Tractor & Gas Engine Club will be hosting it. Punch the link below this message; when the page comes up, punch the link that says, "Historic Farm Days 2002."

I will be at The Red Power Round Up on Friday July 12th.Then on Sat July 13th I will be at Henry,Illinois for the big ATPA tractor pull that features some of the best pullers around. This years pull has been shown on TV.Brent long who lives 60 miles from me won the light SS class at Henry this year with his screamin little 686 IH.Perhaps I will run into some of you there.

Randy: If you're not already a member of the IH Collectors club, you might want to look into it. In addition to the Red Power Roundup (central Illinois this summer) they also host a mid-winter event (this February in Indiana). Sounds to me like what you're looking for. RedTed/MO.

Where in Illinois and when is the Red Power Roundup? I live in Southern Wi. about 30 miles from Ill. border. Sure would like to go to it.

Penfield, IL is about straight east of Bloomington, IL. and I think the RPRU is the first weekend of June, not positive about that... 6th, 7th, 8th & 9th.

Randy,
Sounds like a great idea to me. I would think it
would need to be held somewhere central to everyone. In the USA that would be the midwest,
but then again we also have a good number of the guys on the forum from Canada and elsewhere!I would really like to go to the Red Power Roundup
someday. Im sure a lot of people that go to that are members of this forum. Im sure that there will be plenty of differing opinions. My 2 cents.

i've been to two red power round ups. the one in boonville mo. and years later in lebanon tn. i'd talked to someone from indiana who said that the boonville show had been the alltime best and the lebanon show was tied for 2nd with a town in iowa. those people had been to every round up since the first one. the round up will come to your area some day.
