Hello all,

I am looking at a Farmall ( I think) that has a tree growing up through the seat. The tractor looks complete, motor is stuck, but thankfully it at least rolls. The rear wheels are spoked, and of course, all four tires are shot. Hardly a spot of paint on it. It has an unstyled front.

Is it worth $10???

Bill, Go get it, it is worth more than $10 and you will have a nice winter project. Send us some pictures.

Don't you dare sacrifice a living tree to salvage an old piece of junk. I'll report to to the authorities.

Bill in ORONO,MN: Hey BILL, I live in Orono also. I'll help you decide(Ho-Ho-Ho). Just teasing. Give'em the $10 and have some fun. Nicest way to start the new year is with a new-old tractor. Post a pix? Harvey

Dear Iwouldn't: I've got a New Year's "From-the-Neck-Up-Check-Up" Special going on at The Counseling Clinic,... with an additional discount for the "Half-Enough-Cylinders" impaired. Happy New Year, anyway! RedTed/MO.

We used to live by Loretto, just off 55. How's the ice fishing on Lake Sarah this year?

Bill: Went to a sale in Indiana last fall they cut trees and brush in paths in a woods around tractors and old equipment some of the tractor had trees growing through the frames, F-30s brought $60.00- $500.00 H/s brought$45.00-350 2 Ms brought $325-360 A $$300.00 A 560 diesel in a pile $390.00 The F-20 I bought $310.00 all their engine free tires shot rims good no paint, crank hung on seat bracket! took a hour to get it to trailer with another tractor! So I thinks you got a heck of a buy! you can part it for a lot more! Hope this helps you!

Original spoked rear wheels are probably worth around $100 each! YES IT IS WORTH $10! Is the steering gear in front open or closed? If open it is a Regular. Does it have drop gear housings in back? If it does it is either a Regular, F-20 or F-30. If not it is an F-12 or F-14.

Steven

PS - Look at the front gas tank support for a serial number tag, then you will know what it is.
