Plow bottom questions

I bought an A-295A plow for my Super A at a local annual fire dept. consignment sale. It's rusty but complete with rolling coulters and rolling tail wheel. Supposed to be 2, 12" bottoms. I have some questions about identifying and replacing the bottoms on it: I was able to read the part number on one of the moldboards which was O3136HI. This indicates, according to my Cub implement book, (My Super A implement book was a later edition and the plow bottom parts were relocated into a different parts manual, so I am assuming that what applies to the Cub will apply to the Super A here) that it has "HSKA" High Speed General Purpose bottoms. According to the cub book they used these from 1947-1950. Doesn't quite add up because the plow is supposed to be a 52 or later, (The 295 A had wider plow beams, which mine does) but not real worried about that now. The bottoms are in servicable shape, I've seen worse, the front one has one spot that wore through and someone bubblegummed a patch on with the welder, and though I haven't measured it looks like they put on a 14" share instead of a 12". I have sort of thought about trying to find better bottoms for it. (I know it'll take about 1,000 acres to ever get these to scour, the plow looks to have set out for years) Looks like Plow Chief bottoms were used on these plows as optional equipment and would be a good choice to be "accurate." When did Super Chief bottoms come out? We have a 3pth hitch,3 bottom 309A with Super Chiefs and I know parts are very much readily available. Would they interchange with HSKA, Plow Chief, and others? How hard is it to get Plow Chief parts, and how about HSKA bottom parts?

Thanks,
Al

I think the mounting bolt patern for all IH bottoms is the same. I have a model 90 plow mounted on my F12 and I replaced the origonal 16" bottom with a super chief bottom. It workes great.
