You know Ih also built M1 Garand Rifles for the military during WW2. Today they are the most valuble M1s around.

IH built M1 rifles in the early '50s, not during WWII.

They made window air conditioners for many years, most all of the years they were in the refrigation business. We had several different models.

I saw info on refrigerators and freezers on the Wisconsin Historical Society web site a couple weeks ago. My grandfather bought one in 1951 and it worked perfectly until 2004. The house burned down and got the fridge and my grandpa on his 85th birthday Feb 26 2004. He would have been 88 day after tomorrow.

Not many left. Mom has one in her basement, still works great. I can't find a build date or model number on it anywheres.

Thank you very much. This one in almost show room condition. Would like to find out the value of it. But thank you for your input. Oh, your moms should have a metal tag on the back near the top. it tells you all the info on it.

Barry,
I'll check again for the tag. I don't think they are worth all that much. Mom always says, if someone wants her's, she will take a new one the same size as trade.( She still has ta keep the beer cold..... ..... )

I can't give you any specifics, but they were noted as an excellent, long lasting fridge. I hear that they were very heavy.
