Some relevant facts:

1. Ertl isn't exactly a paragon of accuracy.
2. Why would IH paint tractors white in 1945, when they couldn't keep up with demand in the first place?
3. I have never found a single scrap of evidence in the Archives to support "White M Demonstrators". There's plenty to support Cubs, Super As, and Cs- in fact, on the same piece of paper in some cercumstances. We recently did a search in the archives, and found something like 27 different pieces of information. No Ms, No Hs, no Ws, except W-9s which were painted red, but did have the Mystic stars made for them.
4. There is an article from 1941 which shows ONE white A, painted that color by a branch house down South. A truck salesman was made up in Blackface and went around a State Fair singing black minstrel songs. Different age, I guess.

Boy, you sure hit the nail on the head with #1.
Every time I get a new toy I pick it apart for all the inaccuracies.
