What is a MTA worth? Stuck engine, salvageable rear tires, Rear rims rusted out, Charlyn Power steering, looks complete, with fair tin.

Scrap value, period.

With a stuck engine you have no idea if anything else will work... been there done that. Assume that everything is shot.

SMTA's are very collectable. However, this one may be a canidate to become a donor tractor. It would easily fetch $1200. by parting it out. Restoring it would also be a possibility. Assuming the block and head is OK, a restoration could easily cost $3500. That could put the total cost at $4500. LOL Marv

This is a kind of "rough hewn" answer: Figure $4,500 less repairs to make very nice. Say, $1,500 engine overhaul; $400 rims with freight; and easily, $1,000 for a professional paint job. This assumes the clutch, brakes, hydraulics, etc. are all perfect. (Not much chance of that.) Anyway.... that ought to get you in the ball-park. mike
