Hello everyone, posted a message before, however it seems to have vanished, therefore, once again..

We recently picked up a Farmall C Serial number FC 40361, we aren't sure about the year, I can't match this number anywhere..

Ideas people?

Any resources/url's for this Model C?

This tractor has the wide wheel base/frontend but has the lights real close to the steering wheel, all pictures I've seen, place those lights at the front of the tractor....

It has gauges everywhere, on the engine (3 of them I think) and under the steering wheel and also has hydrolics...

If someone has a year for us here, that would be great...

..and did these C's have mowers under their bellies or a cultivator?

thanks

Go to your nearest CaseIH dealer and get the owners manual and any other service manuals if you want to do your own repairs. Farmall C's were made from about 1947? to 1951 or thereabouts. The headlights on the C were back at the steering post as were the H's and M's. There should be an oil pressure gauge, water temp. gauge, and hydraulic temp gauge. Woods and maybe others make belly mowers to fit and there were front mounted cultivators.

Wouldn't there also be an ammeter? I know the M and H have them.

Yes, there would be an ammeter. The water temperature gauge was optional and the Touch Control temperature gauge was not used on early production.
