Is there anyway to tell the true "white" dealer demonstrator tractors from ones just painted "white"? Can you identify it by the serial number plate? How can you determine a fake?

Thanks
Boone

From the white demos I have seen, they must fit this criteria. They must be a Super A, Cub, or C Farmall built in January, February or March of 1950 at its IH Louisville, KY. factory. A number of the white demos I have spotted have an upside down "L" cast on them, so that may help to ID them too. Any tractors not fitting this general decsription criteria are probably fakes.
