A guy is selling what he calls a 640 for another guy; converted from LP to gasoline using LP tank as gas tank and changing carb. Has what looks like auxillary push-pull hydraulic cylinders on back (two). Says it has live PTO. I just glanced at it one afternoon but keep thinking about it and called today. I figured to arm myself with some info before stopping to check it out and ask questions. Can't find a 640 on any web info pages. Can anyone please give a clue as to value. I know that it runs and when commenting that the tractor has been for sale for along time...he says yeah, no one is interested in a big tractor. Any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks
Bo

Could it possibly be a 660? One thing that might help is to familiarize yourself with sheet metal styles for the different series, you don't have to be too in depth but it's helped me pick out a tractor or two covered in brush. Keep us informed.

Bo,
The quickest way to determine what it is is to look at the S/N plate. That should tell you what it is and you can then figure out what year model it is.

Never heard of 640. There were 460's, 650's,600's, but no 640
