On my Super A, I'm trying to remove the left side rocker arms with no avail. There is not enough gap between them to get a puller in to use and it's just below the gas tank, so I'm afraid to use heat. Any suggestions???

Removing the gas tank (and draining the line) should only take a minute. That might give you more room to work.

Bronco,
If I remember correctly, when I had the head redone on my C (similar engine) the entire rocker assembly could be removed with a couple of bolts. Then you can take it to the bench and disassemble it there. Should be pretty easy to get the rocker arms off the shaft, no puller should be needed.

I just redid my Super A -- three nuts, one is sort of hidden in the middle, the whole assembly lifts off, spring clips hold the arms on the shaft.
