Horse power, the size, one is made for mowing and other uses also. and the other is made for farming and all of that good stuff.

They are the same size and horsepower, just a different rear width.
Both were designed and built for farming.

The axles and housings on the BN are 4" shorter on each side on the BN. This, in turn results in a few odds and ends being different. Most of them relate to the fit on the right side being tighter, and therefore more like the A, i.e., brake linkage. Seat mounts arte also different.

The N in BN stands for narrow. they are 8-12 inches narrower than the standard B. the motor, tranny, and front end were the same.
