I just bought this tractor and would like to know what the horsepower rating is. Is it similar to a Super H?

I think with the overbore kit and fire crater pistons one should be able to get really close to the power of the Super H. One thing a person should remember is that some of the extra power of the Super H went to drive the live hydralic pump.

I'm hoping for 35 horsepower at the PTO when I get done with mine. I'm going fire crater pistons, overbore and cold manifold. I plan to have it dynoed at my local IH shop.

Late H's were rated at 25.5 on the drawbar and 28 on the belt, not as much as a Super H which was rated at 31 on the drawbar and 34.6 on the belt. Your tractor could have more power if someone put in overbore sleeves and pistons in it when it was overhauled but it'll take a lot to get it up to Super H power.
