If you turn the rear rims in on the wheels, you can get it down to 48". If they're turned out now, just swap sides. Once they're on the inside, just jack up one side at a time, loosen the clamp bolts (two on the inside and two outside on each wheel), slide them in and retighten. If you've got crud built up in the channel on the axle, it can't hurt to clean that out well before you start trying to rock the wheel in. A wide front can be gotten down to 50" with 4.00 tire on turned in rims, and involves loosening up the clamps on the axle and the tie rods, pushing things in and putting all the clamps back. Toe- in should be set to 1/8-1/4". The Operator's Manual has the procedure and specs. Scotty

Bobby: Follow ScottyNY, and clean the axles while your assistant is moving the wheels side to side. Then, if you've got a narrow front end and want to play with that, inside-out and side-to-side switches will give you four different front end tracks as well. Love these S/Cs. So straight forward.
