What kind of production numbers were these produced in? Whats one worth? I have the chance to buy a 1953 one and a three bottom IH plow for $2500. Both have original paint which is in excellent condition. The have been stored inside all their lives.

I would go for it. The tractor itself is worth 2500 if it is running and original. Although they are not REALLY rare, I have never seen one in my life (although rather short). I think they are actually rarer than you would think, and if not they are rare enough to keep out of a junk yard. Good luck.

Factory LP or aftermarket conversion?

They're not particularly rare, at least I don't think of mine that way.

Price is OK if the equipment is as good as the paint.
