Hi Guys,
I have recently acquired a full set of NOS plug wires for a magneto (I am assuming). They have the typical plug end for IH and then have eyelets on the end that would be for the dist. or mag. The original parts tag is rather faded but reads 358655R?? Can anyone tell me what application they would be? Simply by the part number, you would think they would fit a 40s tractor, however, with the eyelets, I can only assume a pre-1940s tractor. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

They wouuld fit something with an E4A mag. I see you said that the MAG end has eyelets on them. The E4A mag had thumb nuts on the dist cap and used eyelet end wires. The E4A was used on 15-30s
10-20s, regulars, and early F-12s, F30s and maybe some early F-20s. They replaced the E4A with the F-4 in the early 30s about the same time that the F-20 replaced the regular. The F-4 and later mags used push in ends with boots.

I seem to recall that we had a '41 H that had plug wires like that. You screwed off the cap of the plug and the eyelet wnet over the post and then replaced plug cap. It was either that tractor or a "37 F-20.

One of the wires that was on my f-14 had the eyelet ends on the spark plug end.You take the little nut off of the end of the pug and put the wire on then repalce the nut!
