When you replaced the adjustable pulley for the water pump, I'm assuming it was part "6 598 DK" that was held in place by the flange. Is the part (14 on p.27) then tightened on the hub to get the proper belt tension? I'm going to hit several bone yards this Saturday for the complete assembly to see if one might work (and to look for those valuable grill inserts).

Just how valuable are those grill inserts? Will M inserts fit an H? I know of a bone yard where there are at least a couple of them. If you don't have any success, Ill try to help you out.

I'm always on the lookout for these inserts for an H. If I find one or two, guess I'd better put it in the Classified Add section.

The part numbers are different and if I recall correctly, the M insert is a bit larger.

Bill good luck on the insert. They are not easy to find.

Yes ref. 14, the adjustable flange is threaded on the inside and adjusts on ref. 17, the hub. Once you have ref 13, the flange, pressed back on you will see how 14 tightens or loosens up.

Now is that confusing or what?!?!?!?
