If anyone knows where I can get the best deal on a crank I appreciate it if you would let me know. How much should I have to pay for one that's suitable to be reground ? already been ground ?

Hello All, I just wanted to thank all the folks on here for all the help. I've been using this forum for a couple of years now and have found it to be a great resource, as well as entertaining from time to time. I guess that I have used the site so much I had forgot about the other great features (such as the classified). Hugh's suggestion to look in the classified proved to be a great one since there is in fact one for sale at a resonable price. Hugh kindly offered to look for a crank the next time he went out to the bone yard.

So again. I would just like to thank you all for your support.

Brian: Don't pay attention to those bossy people. When you get another crank, you ask questions if your tractor manuals don't make it clear enough. I like helping restor old Farmalls like yours. Checkout the boneyards listed elsewhere on YTmag. ralph

This crank has already had enough discussion time to completely overhaul a 3588, suggest you go to classifieds.

Hello Hugh: I've been helping Brian and I don't like your comment to him about too much time spent on this crank. Who the he** made you the boss around here?? If you do not like Brians post, stay the he** away. Nobody forced you to open his note and reply. Some of the younger people need lots of extra help and I enjoy helping people like Brian. By the way , I am a lot older than you so age does not make you boss. Kim didn't put a limit on beginners questions. Since I'am older, why don't you be a good little boy and backoff.. ralph

I think you best check with Brian, we have exchanged e-mail this am, taking my suggestion he has a lead on another crank. I also told him I would have a look around here. So lets just keep our cool.
