We got home and missed that auction alright but there is one in our home town next Saturday, see a few IH machines in the yard but haven't had time to check them out yet. We did have a good time watching the M's, H's, W6's and W9's plowing and the 3 SMTA's that were there as well, along with a few other brands, some nice old Olivers, AC and Case tractors plus a few Deere's, including a nice 720 Diesel Wheatland. There were not 100 of them but were at least 25 or 30 M's plus many other IH models including Regulars, F20's and F12's, plus a slick Cub with duals so it was a lot of fun anyway and a LOT of plowing was accomplished, even had a 3 horse team plowing it's own land out.

Good question Brian. All of the air cleaners were off and looked like they had been off for some time. (Not a good sign to me) I wouldn't have liked eating all of that exhaust without mufflers of any of them either,

Just one question. Why would they all have the air filters off ???

Maybe they ran better with no filter than a clogged filter,or easier to get them started with ether.
