We drive our tractors 15 miles to town to get repaired, 20 miles to work in the field, and drove one home 65 miles after we bought it. As long as it doesn't jump out of road gear like some of them do it should be a fun trip!

When I was in junior high, I drove an AC WD 35 miles pulling a plow. Beautiful fall day and really enjoyed it.

Drive it home! An SM will run 18 - 19+ in road gear depending on the rear rubber. 50 miles should be an easy 3 hour drive. But make sure your tires are up, brakes and steering are first class, and there's an SMV on the rear end. Good idea to run the lights too. And stick to back roads wherever you can...
