The left side brake on my M dosnt hold. I checked the band and found that it is drenched with oil. Is there a seal there and if so how much trouble is it to change? all info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks al.

Brake shaft seal is behind drum, pry it out, or drill 2 holes and put self tap screws in & use a slide hammer, get 2 new seals for each side, new design is thinner than original.

Yes, there is a seal there, just changed them on my H. Not too bad if you can get the old ones out, they can be stuck in there pretty good. If the seal is out, check the bearing, sometimes they go at the same time.
