I'm ready to start my f-12 after restoration and need to time the mag. The Service manual says "If the timing is correct the d.c. mark on the flywheel will align with the timing mark on flywheel housing" Where will I find these markings? Thanks in advance

I know on a F-20 there is a hole about 1 1/4" dia. in front of clutch housing, hiding behind the frame rail. You look in hole with a flashlite while someone turns engine over slowly.Flywheel should be stamped DC,that should line up with a pointer.Helps to take the sparkplugs out.Hold your thumb over #1 hole to feel for compression, then you know when you're close.Look around on front of your clutch housing for a hole.Might have to hold a rag over a stick against surface of flywheel to clean off crud so stamping can be read.Worked for me.Having someone to help is a big plus.Good luck!
