i have a 1952 international farmall cub and when i mow or run it for about a hour or so it dies. i let it sit for a few minutes and it starts right up. it rub=ns for a few minutes then dies. i recently had the radator cleaned and broke the fan guard. do you think that i am not getting enough air to cool it off, or it might be something else?
thanks

Phil Auten is most likey on the money. The exhaust manifold is not broken/cracked and heating the gas supply causing a vapor lock is it.

Brandon,
Sounds like it's starving for fuel or the ignition has problems. Does it sputter and die or just quit without warning? If it sputters, try choking it to see if it recovers. If so, it's fuel. If it just dies without warning I'd suspect the ignition coil or condenser. Replace the condenser first, it's easy and cheap. If it's starving for fuel, clean the carburetor float bowl out and then work back through the fuel line to the gas tank. You may have to remove the tank and clean the rust out of it to stop the rust flakes from clogging things up. A motorcycle shop should be able to sell you a product to seal the tank to prevent further rust problems.

Good luck,
Phil

Sounds like Phil gave you good advice. You don't have a pressure cap on the radiator do you? It should only have a flat cap.
