I was just pricing paint for my H and went to a PPG dealer and found out that I could get a gallon of primer, IHC red paint, thinner, reducer and hardner for $300.00 . Is this a good deal or can I get it cheaper?

I also use IH 2150 paint and IH primer with some ultra wet look hardner. Looks great.

Some dealers charge more for paint than others. I pay $80/gallon for PPG urathane. If you want, I can give you the dealers names in Spokane, and you won't get ripped off. Try your local Napa dealer, they handle Martin-Senor paint, very good quality. If you want your paint job to last, paint it with urathane. There is nothing worse than spending gobs of time prepping your tractor and then spraying with a poor quality paint, and wathing your prize fade after a few years.

Go to your Case/IH dealer and buy their paint. It will be the right color and cheaper.

ditto for me. I have had good luck with genuine I-H paint. A lot of guys keep their tractors shedded anyway so why spend a lot of money ?
