My neighbor just got a two bottom IHC plow, on steel. He would like some help identifing the model, and hopefully an approximate age. I don't have any pictures, but I did get a number off of a beam:

PO23403

If you need any other identifing numbers or parts, let me know. I've figured out his JD plow, but these IHs are new to me.

Thanks,
Brandon

Mark,

Thanks for the offer, but Clyde seems to have answered the question. The plow looks alot like his pictures. Except with a bit more rust!

You have an IH Little Genius #8. The number on the other beam should be 23402. Older Little Genius' have different beam part #'s. Pictures of my restored Little Genius are at the link below. I'm no expert but believe my plow to be from the 1930's. It has steel spoked 6.00 - 16 wheels on rubber and a metal tail wheel. Since yours has steel wheels with the same beam part #'s, IH must have sold them with either style wheels in the 1930-1940's.
