I was recently given a Farmall tractor. I think it is a model C. The model number says FC and the serial number is 128671. Can someone help verify the model and year it was made? Thanks for your help.

That's a 1951 Super C.

Thank you Mr.Ransom for the information. I'm curious what the difference is between a 'C' and 'Super C'? Can you please explain. Thanks again.

I'm sure the experts can tell you more, but the Super C had a slightly bigger engine than most plain Cs.

Besides the larger engine they had a larger radiator, taller front grill, gas tank was higher to match up with the taller radiator, angled back brake and clutch pedals, disk brakes and the Super C had the 2 point hitch option. There might have been more but I can't think of any at this time.
