Can someone please tell me how much oil the Liftall on an M takes? Also is there any way to raise the pressure on it. Thanks.

Bob:

Red is right on! To attempt raising the pressure on the LIFT-ALL is to risk danger of cracking its' case. IH shop manuals warn against it. To use higher pressures demands investment in something newer than the old lettered Farmall line. Unfortunately, romancing the old RED IRON is no substitute for something more technologically advanced in this day and age.

Bob the M liftall takes 6 quarts. The early liftalls had around 450 psi. Rebuilt and later liftalls had approx. 850 psi. I don't think you can get the pressure much higher than that.
